Client Requirements
Nestle commissioned the construction of a new 33,600m2 coffee manufacturing and production facility in Tutbury. The project consisted of 6 specific production buildings including green bean storage and roasters, freeze dry, extraction, utilities, packing warehouse, office and workshop.

Moliri were chosen at project inception to help prepare the project brief, plus select and appoint a design team. Our services were retained during the design and construction phases, to advise on planning and statutory approval procedures, technical design, procurement and contractual matters, and monitoring adherence to the project cost plan.
Moliri were instrumental in the close coordination and collaboration between the client's internal design teams, the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical building contractors and specialist fire engineers.

Client Requirements
Our client commissioned the conversion of an existing portal framed building to be used for storage of liquid food ingredients. Through our previous experience of food factory design and construction Moliri were appointed as Project Managers.
The works included replacing the roof, wall and floor surface to provide a hygienic environment, the installation of a hygienic air handling system and new electrical infrastructure for production operations. Subsequently, process tanks were installed and with a stainless steel mezzanine and associated process pipework installation.
